The Basque Resource for Artificial Intelligence and Image Analysis (BRAIIAN), housed within the Instituto Biofisika (IBF)—a joint research center of the University of the Basque Country (EHU) and the Spanish Research Council (CSIC)—is a cutting-edge platform dedicated to the advancement of image analysis technologies. Developed in close partnership with the Fundación Biofísica Bizkaia (FBB), BRAIIAN serves as a hub for the creation and implementation of sophisticated computational tools specifically designed to address the complex challenges of life-science imaging. Its mission is to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and biomedical research by providing researchers with innovative solutions for processing, interpreting, and visualizing biological data. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and a strong emphasis on technological innovation, BRAIIAN aims to accelerate scientific discovery and contribute to the development of new methodologies that enhance our understanding of biological systems at both the cellular and molecular levels.
